I hope this finds you and your family in good health.  While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same:  our commitment to your safety and health.

By its very nature, massage and bodywork requires skin-to-skin contact and you should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority in our office.  As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help us to support all of our clients by cooperating with some new procedures.

Mountain Massage, Incorporated follows practice guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards(FSMTB), along with infection control  recommendations made by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.  These changes were made to protect our therapists, clients and our office staff.

• We will communicate with you beforehand to obtain updates to your health information and ask specifically about potential exposure to COVID-19.
• When you arrive at the office, we ask that you wait outside the glass door to ensure we do not have too many people in the reception area at one time. Please also remember to make arrangements for other family members, as clients only will be allowed in our waiting area.
• We will greet you at the door and use a no touch thermal temperature screening to confirm that you do not have a fever. ( staff members will be checked daily as well!)
• We will ask if you have developed any symptoms of illness since we spoke on the phone.  Massage is not advised if you have any symptoms of illness.
• Please bring a face mask to use while you are in the office , and during your visit. (we will be wearing them as well)
• We will ask you to sign an informed consent that states:  " I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19.  By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive massage therapy form this practitioner. I understand my name and contact information might be shared with the state health department in the event that a client or practitioner at this facility tests positive for COVID-19.  My contact details will only be shared in the event they are relevant  based on suspected exposure date, and only for appropriate follow-up by the health department.
• Hand sanitizer will be available at several locations  in the office, you will be asked to use upon arrival as well as post appointment.
• We are making every effort to make sure our environment is as sterile as possible, some other changes you may notice are the use of HEPA air purifyers and UV filters, items such as clipboards and pens will be sterilized after every use, the removal of our water and tea station , blankets will be used upon request only. Appointment times will be spread 30 minutes a part in order for our staff to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation.
• Please note that in the coming weeks we will have a limited menu of services and will not be providing any face massage services.
• We will begin to accept  appointments on July 1, 2020  same day appointments will be available but PLEASE CALL FIRST! Appointments may be booked anytime by clicking the  " book it now" button on this site.
